Become Self Love Masterclass Event Raises over €24,553!
Maeve and the Love Cherish team were thrilled to have a raised €24,553 for Marymount University Hospice from their ‘Become’ Self-Love Masterclass which took place in Charleville Park Hotel on Sunday 11th February of this year. The fashion-filled day out was put together by Maeve Dennehy of Love Cherish Boutique and Virginia Foley of Brand Wagon events.
The theme was around learning to love yourself first and it marked the 5th anniversary of the award winning shop in Charleville. The event was organised in memory of Maeve's sister, Karen who passed away in 2013 and spent the final part of her journey in Marymount Hospice.
Love Cherish used it’s social media influence to sell 600 tickets in a matter of hours when they were released in mid-January. On the day, host Sile Seoige shared her own journey with cancer and lead the audience in a meditation centering exercise.
Various other guest speakers, including high profile names such as Jeanette Cronin makeup artist, Award winning hair stylist Upstyle Junkie, Fashion blogger Daily Diva Diary, stylist Fiona Hayes, The happiness teacher Susan Power Flanagan, and Karen o Connor Nutritionist, shared their self-care and confidence tips throughout the day.
It was fun filled event focused on positivity and self love, and the support from customers and local businesses was overwhelming, ensuring everyone took home an important message of self care.
