Nora III Metallic Nylon is made of the materials nylon and calfskin with details in fish leather, which is originally a waste product from the Icelandic seafood industry. The backing material of WODEN's sneakers consists of 50% recycled polyester derived from plastic bottles. The insole is made of a soft PU-foam material, which is both light and shock-absorbing. It is covered with the characteristic WODEN cork, to ensure breathability. The outsole consists of several layers to ensure you stability and durability. In this style, we have introduced algae in the foam layer of the outsole to minimize our need for plastic. In addition, the sole consists of 65% natural rubber, 10% recycled rubber and 25% conventionally produced rubber.
